We evaluated the Solderite 3000 Lead Free Soldering Station. The soldering dynamics of the soldering station proved to be as good or better than other soldering stations we evaluated. The tip life was unsurpassed! The quality and cost of the tips alone led us to replace all of the soldering stations through out our facility. The quality and workmanship of the Solderite 3000 Lead Free Soldering Station is second to none.

A different situation may possibly have arisen if a the Solderite lead free soldering station did not dominate in both the TBE and PBE final weighted scores.

The only thing I disliked was the lack of brand recognition, which I think will change in the future. First, it’s a lightweight lead free soldering station and very comfortable to use yet with plenty of power.
